Nice pics, but I'm expecting to see how well you did on the rolling road...

The 2.4's came away with between 198bhp & 205bhp, the JTD's averaged 155-160bhp one actually put out 317lbs/ft torque.

Wow!!!! Great numbers!!!! I guess none was full stock ;) ;) . Here in Greece there's a big talk on whether the results of a rolling road are accurate or not, mainly because of the fact that the rolling road owners do not know how to use their equipment.

I would be most graetfull bennyboy if you could tell us a bit about each car's tuning and upload the duno results too.... Hope I'm not asking for much... Thx m8...

I haven't got the graphs as they don't belong to me, here in the UK tuning companies are a bit secretive when it comes to releasing their figures. All the 2.4s had a GSR induction kit fitted & a remap as did one of the diesels. I also have a cat back supersprint exhaust on mine which is why my torque figure is so high, anybody after an exhaust for their stilo would be wise to get a supersprint they're expensive but we have proven they do work!:D ;) While most of the abarths were around 203bhp & 185lbs/ft torque mine was 205bhp & 211lbs/ft torque.

I have one question for you...
How many Stilo 2.4abarth and 1.9 JTD you have there in Stilosport club???

Wowwww...these are excellent results (ps)...!!But it is all in graphs. From a graph you can check if the programmer did a nice job, and not from a peak value for horsepower and torgue....!!...I wish we could take a look at them...!!:)

Now, speaking about torque...What is the value that fiat announces for the abarth..??

And why aren't the results yours...???..Don't you own the car...??didn't you pay for the test??...That is weird indeed...!!!:confused:

Again excellent results there m8....!!!...:D

My 1.6 wasnt done on that day but was done at the same place and was the first 1.6 to be done mine is now running at 120bhp with 115.4 lbs of torque at 4925rpm another 1.6 was done that day and got a reading of 121.4bhp with no under tray fitted and sucking lots of cold air ..with induction.. remap ..and stainless steel exhaust which are the same modification as mine :yeah: we need turbo's to give those abarths some thing to think about :D

I found this graphic of a 2.4Lts tuned Stilo floating around the Web:

Can't see power at wheel well but seems they calculated 73.7 HP loss at drive train.
A very flat torque curve, that's nice!
This makes that engine a pleasure to drive!

Τhe 73.7 HP loss that u mentioned is ENORMOUS!! The driver must have hit the brakes instead of letting the car roll down.

This one shows a HUGE amount of drivetrain loses also!!
Would it be correct??

I believe HP at wheel is the most important here, but I haven't see a graphic for a non touche Stilo!

Suze has lost power because she has 19" alloys.:(

As you can see on the sheet the company that did the runs is Cipped uk Quote-The explanation for this is explained by the scaling of the power runs, when they scale using different start points the software to calculate the new scale as opposed to the old one by comparison.
They use the Dimtek 18004wd RR which is one of the worlds most accurate dyno's, but the software scales incorrectly when looking solely for engine power .
In almost all areas of the world they measure wheels only but here in the UK we do flywheel .
They have asked for there to be counter actable and is awaiting an update.
Jason the owner has worked at Porsche torque Racing team [where he started his working life] Pro drive and C.J. Racing. and has worked directly at the Ferrari factory in Italy and Ruff in Germany. He is the UK partner of Dimmensionne Sport Italy and does training there with them and is the UK partner of OBD tuning Hamburg :)
