    Question Why the 2.4 Lts. isn't popular at Grece?

    Is it because of gas consum or is it heavy taxed over there?

    The way you tune your engines you could make a beast out of the Abarth engine!

    I haven't see a greek Schumy or Abarth here.

    The only reason is because of the high tax we have to pay a tax which is different according to the size of the engine. Up to 2 literes is somewhat ok but anything above 2 liters is too expensive in the tax department. unfortenently no schumies were brought to greece for sale thx to the narrow minded dealership here.

    As Stilatos mentioned, taxation for cars above 2.000 ccs is really high in Greece... The result is that people get deeply involved in what is commonly known as "car tuning" with remarkable results as you correctly pointed out. Car (and gas) taxation is one of the main revenues for the State here...

    Also my friend Athos here the dealers never incoming Fiat Stilo X-box edition.. same as the schumacher edition, also the Diesel edition of Stilo because of the Greek law about the diesel engines in Athens(capital) & Salonica(2nd capital).....

    ....anyway my 2nd Stilo is 1.9JTD and I bought it from Germany!!!

    That's a shame! Specially as we are heading for 300bhp output for a n/a abarth! Bloody bureaucrats!
