Andrea Pininfarina, chief executive of Pininfarina, the design firm best known for styling classic Italian sports cars like the Ferrari Dino and the Alfa Romeo 1600 Spider Duetto, died early Thursday morning when his Vespa scooter was hit by a car near Turin, Italy, close to where the company is based. He was 51.
