Aνταγωνισμος

Η Brera στις εκδόσεις 2.2JTS,2.4JTDm και τη μελοντική 3.0JTDm με μήκος 4,41m τοποθετείται ανάμεσα σε SLK και CLK, Ζ4 και 4....δεν υπάρχει ένας απευθείας ανταγωνιστής.
Η Brera στις εκδόσεις 3.2JTS Q4 260 ίππων και στο μέλλον 3.6JTS Q4 320 ίππων είναι άμεσος ανταγωνιστής των μελλοντικών Porsche Cayman 3.2 260 ίππων και Cayman S 3.4 295 ίππων.
Η Brera στην έκδοση GTA 405 ίππων έχει ουσιαστηκά ως πιο κοντινό ανταγωνιστή σε επιπεδο τυπολογίας διαστάσεων μετάδοσης και κόστους την μελλοντική Carrera 4S 355 ίππων.
-H Spider 2.2JTS ουσιαστηκά δεν έχει απευθείας αντίπαλο λόγω ότι έχει πιο μεγάλες διαστάσεις 439x183....αλλά συγκρίνεται με Z4 και SLK αν και όπως είπα είναι κατα 30 εκατοστά πιο κοντύτερες και κατα 5 εκατοστά πιο στενές βασικά η spider είναι πιο φαρδιά ακόμα και απο την SL η τη νέα 911 Carrera Cabrio...

Τι ειναι το Uniar-Multiair......(petrol-diesel)

Η τεχνολογια που θα κανει τα vtec-vanos να δειχνουν παρωχημενα!

To 2007 η Fiat θα παρουσιασει την τεχνολογια UNIAIR(ηλεκτρουδραυλικος ελεγχος των βαλβιδων),που θα φερει επανασταση αυξανωντας 10% την ισχύ 15% την ροπή μειώνοντας 25% την κατανάλωση και 33%(Euro 5) τους ρύπους(που έχει βραβευθεί το 2002 με το ειδικό βραβειο των ευρωπέων κατασκευαστών για ανακάλυψη στο χωρο του αυτοκινητου)Η Fiat φενεται να μην θελει να εμπορευματοποιησει την συγκεκριμενη τεχνολογια μεσω της Bosh(δεν θα πουλησει δικαιωματα παραγωγης) οπως εγινε με το common rail αλλα αποκλειστηκα θα το παραγει η θυγατρικη της(Magneti Marelli).Αν επαληθευτουν οι ισχυρισμοι της Fiat(οι κεφαλες των JTS που θα ειναι οι μονες συμβατες με το UNIAIR)τοτε,για παραδειγμα o καινουριος V6-260hp θα αποδιδει 345Hp ατμοσφαιρικα!Κατι αναλογο θα παρουσιασει ο ομιλος PSA σε συνεργασια με την BMW αλλα οχι πριν το 2009/2010!

Για παραδειγμα ο 3.2UniAir θα έχει γύρω στους 300 ίππους αλλά κυρίως θα έχει 39kgm ροπή...και θα καταναλώνει όσο ο σημερινός 2.0JTS.....


Oλα τα μοντελα της Alfa απο το 2007-8 θα εφοδιαστουν με το UNIAIR.θα εφαρμοστει και στον v12-6.0 της Ferrari με συστημα αμεσου ψεκασμου και 630hp.Oi φημες λενε οτι ισως πρωτοεφαρμοστει το 2006 στην 148 και ο 1.6 jts uniair θα αποδιδει 150hp.

A red Alfa Romeo 147 2.0, complete with UNIAIR livery, has been used extensively as a test vehicle for this project ever since it was first previewed at the 63rd Barcelona Motorshow in April 2003, where awards were handed out for the best technological innovations in the automotive field.
The UNIAIR system will eventually feature on all Fiat Group automotive engines, due to be fitted across the entire range between 2007 and 2008. Early rumours suggested that the Alfa Romeo 148 would receive UNIAIR in October 2006, although this date is now considered as highly
improbable.
The results of the ten year project are stunning, with power output increasing by 10-15% on average, whilst fuel consumption drops by 8 to 10%. The latter improvement is mainly due to the elimination of the conventional butterfly throttle valve, a component that severely reduces the ability for air flow to be optimized. Consequently, UNIAIR technology allows for Euro 5 emissions standards to be met, and contributes to reducing the environmental foot print of modern day motoring.
One of the first engines to receive the UNIAIR treatment will be the 1.6 litre JTS engine, fitted to the Alfa Romeo 148. With UNIAIR technology, the 1.6 litre unit is expected to boast an output of 150 bhp. UNIAIR engines are also characterised by impressive low-end torque.
Diesel engines fitted with the technology bear the MULTIAIR tag, and will also exude impressive power outputs per litre, and ultra-low consumption figures.
On the high performance side of the range, Alfa Romeo have been developing a 3.2 litre twin-turbo V6 UNIAIR JTS, with a power output of approximately 400 bhp. In this application, the benefits of the UNIAIR system are clearly evident, with the air-flow of the engine being far more substantial, and influential. The first application of UNIAIR for the Ferrari range of cars is expected to be with the 6.0 V12 direct injection engine, with an impressive 630 bhp.

Φεβρουαριο του 2006 το Suv της Alfa Romeo-Kamal

H Kamal παραγωγής η "921" είναι λίγο μεγαλύτερη σε διαστάσεις(θα ξεπερνάει τα 4,4 μέτρα..) απο το concept και έχει κλασσικές πίσω πόρτες και όχι βιβλίο όπως το concept καθώς και μεγαλύτερο κατά 5 εκατοστά μεταξόνιο σε σχέση με το concept.To Kamal δεν είναι ένα κλασσικό SUV μα ένα Crossover όχημα ανάμεσα σε SUV Wagon και Coupe' φτάνει να πω ότι δεν ξεπερωάει τα 162 εκατοστά....οπότε είναι κάτι το διαφορετικό αν και απο άποψη τιμής απευθείας αντίπαλοι θα είναι το Χ3 και το Q5....
Το 921 βασίζεται στο πάτωμα Compact και στην προκειμένη περίπτωση έχει διπλά ψαλίδια μπρος-πίσω και μόνιμη τετρακίνηση Torsen-C.
Σε αντίθεση με το concept που χρησιμοποιούσε τον κλασσικό 3.2V6 Alfa Romeo το αυτοκίνητο παραγωγής θα έχει μια πλήρη γκάμα απο κινητήρες που θα αποτελείτε απο τους..

Alfa Romeo Kamal
Alfa Romeo presented it's newest concept vehicle, the Kamal SUV, at the Geneva Auto Show. The vehicle, which represents a new segment for Alfa, features a 250hp, 3.2L 24 Valve V6 mated to the 6-speed SeleSpeed gearbox, and a fully independent double-wishbone suspension at both ends.

Earlier in the Geneva show, Alfa announced it's new GT Coupe and facelifted GTV and Spider models.

The Kamal's off-road pretensions are backed up by a 4wd system featuring 3 separate differentials, including a Torsen (Torque Sensing) center differential. The air suspension is height adjustable and ranges from a low, Sport setting which activates automatically at high speeds to a high setting for low speed off-road driving. Aluminum is used extensively for protection on the vehicle's underside, and it rides on 20" alloy wheels with special Pirelli tires.

According to Alfa Romeo, the styling of the vechicle retains many cues from the current range, and resembles a road vehicle more than an off-road SUV. The vehicle features conventionally opening front doors and unique side hinged rear doors. The rear cargo area can swallow 400 liters of luggage when the seats are folded flat, and contains an integrated luggage ramp for loading
